Created by driving enthusiasts for driving enthusiasts, the dramatically styled 2016 Nissan Maxima looks like nothing else on the road today – and drives like nothing in the segment. The all-new Nissan flagship not only resets Maxima’s iconic “4-Door Sports Car” positioning, it sets a new standard for style, performance and technology in the large sedan class.

2016 Nissan MaximaThe wait is over. After its buzz-generating debut at the recent New York International Auto Show, the 2016 Maxima has arrived at AutoFair Nissan in Stratham, NH and Tewksbury, MA. As Nissan’s flagship sedan, the all-new eighth-generation design takes the company’s best-known nameplate into new territory with its boldest styling, most powerful engine and highest level of available safety and connected technology features yet.

“Following on the highly successful launch of the all-new Nissan Murano, the new 2016 Maxima is hitting showrooms with tremendous momentum,” said Fred M. Diaz, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations U.S., Nissan North America, Inc. “With its winning combination of style, technology and driving excitement, we see it appealing to both the large number of previous Maxima owners and buyers considering vehicles from luxury brands. We’ve proven Maxima can go tire-to-tire on the track. We think we can do it in the showroom as well.”

Along with burnishing its longstanding reputation as the “4-Door Sports Car,” the new 2016 Maxima embodies the latest Nissan design language and projects a distinctive upscale look through its unique combination of a lower profile and a wide stance, bold front end, Nissan signature V-Motion grille and floating roof appearance. The new Maxima also features a premium-crafted interior, anchored by a command central fighter jet-inspired driver’s cockpit, that rivals luxury vehicles.

All 2016 Maximas feature a revised 300-horsepower 3.5-liter VQ-series V6 engine and new performance-oriented Xtronic transmission. The comprehensive re-engineering effort also results in a 15 percent increase (over the previous generation Maxima) in highway fuel economy to 30 miles per gallon.

Maxima’s next-generation technology features include standard NissanConnectSM with navigation and available 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, NissanConnectSM Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately) and Around View® Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD).

The 2016 Maxima also offers an extensive range of available safety, security and driving aids, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Driver Attention Alert (DAA) system.

The 2016 Maxima is available in five well-equipped models (all equipment is grade standard, no available options): Maxima S, SV, SL, SR and Platinum.

Honda Unveils Innovative Ad Campaign to Highlight the All New HR-V

2016 Honda HR-V Ad Campaign

The all new Honda HR-V has just “hatched”

In sync with the launch of the all-new 2016 HR-V Crossover, Honda has launched an original advertising campaign illustrating their history of innovation that led to this new crossover that gets everything right.

The campaign is made up of two distinctive TV spots, “Give and Take” and “Great Thinking Inside.” “Give and Take” takes a lighthearted approach to depict a literal molding of people’s faces, stretching and pulling ears, chins and foreheads to express the truth that it’s difficult to get everything just the way you want it. The new HR-V has found that no-compromise sweet spot where everything is perfect.

“Great Thinking Inside” appeals to Honda enthusiasts’ sense of nostalgia. With the Honda Prelude, del Sol, Element and others set in Russian-nested-doll fashion, the advertisement shows how one good idea leads to another, and how Honda’s continuous building on past successes have arrived at its latest iconic car, the HR-V Crossover. Sammy Davis Jr.’s “Gonna Build a Mountain” provides a classic, memorable soundtrack.

“The versatility, sleek design and advanced technology of the all-new HR-V Crossover provides a multi-dimensional element that will appeal to a variety of people,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Automobile Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “The vehicles in ‘Great Thinking Inside’ are iconic Honda models that demonstrate our evolution of thinking, while ‘Give and Take’ illustrates our dedication to innovations, we’re proud to continue this track record with the all-new HR-V.”

Simple, eye-catching print work conveys the idea that big isn’t the only way to versatility. Print insertions will be seen in Road & Track, Autoweek, MotorTrend and more and will be in the form of magazine fold-ins. Unfolded, the car stretches out to show a bigger vehicle. Folded in, the ad depicts the HR-V Crossover and all the cargo items it can transport.

The new Honda HR-V is poised to be a top contender in the newly popular subcompact crossover segment. If you have not yet seen Honda’s newest creation in person, come on down to AutoFair Honda in Manchester, NH and have a look!
